Surviving the crash

With the future looking fairly bleak these days, it may be necessary to take some cautionary steps now in order to survive into the future. There have been many stories of how bad it was during the between to the two world wars, but it could happen again!

In order to get through a deep recession there are some measures that can be put in place now:

Avoid debt at all costs
Get out of your mortgage
Buy some cheap land
Go off the grid
Cultivate some skills that will always be in demand
Offshore yourself
Invest in the ultimate counter-cyclicals
Invest in some Euros
Have some liquid funds on hand
Learn to hunt
Stockpile medications

By taking all or just some of these steps, could make all the difference when it comes to surviving the crash.
