Gordon Brown defends UK finances

Having been applauded for so many years as the best Chancellor of the Exchequer that this country has ever had, it must be coming as quite a shock for the Prime Minister Gordon Brown to find that his management of the country and in particular the finances of the UK are being questioned.

In fact during this period of attack from business leaders and other politicians, the Prime Minister has admitted that he has even been in contact with former Prime Minister Tony Blair for some advice on how he can turn things around.

It is clear that this country is going through a hard period of time, but whether or not this is totally down the Prime Minister leadership or just a coincidence that he just happens to be at the wheel while all of this is going on. Is open for debate, but one thing that he must do is make sure that his decision make the UK better and not worse.
