More millionaires for UK in 2017

There may be fears that the credit crunch is going to take its toll on people in the UK, but in a recent study by Barclays Household Wealth Index it has been estimated that by the 2017 there will be 2.4 million households in the UK that will have an income of more that one million pounds per year.

But what would seem to be even more crucial to the country’s wealth index is that in the same study they found that the number of UK households that are worth over five million pounds is going to increase by around one hundred and twenty per cent over the same period.

If these increase in personal wealth come true, this will mean that the UK will become the wealthiest country in Europe and the fifth wealthiest country in the world. But 2017 is a long way off at the moment and there are going to be some tough times ahead over the next year or so, before we can all relax.
