Getting on top of your finances
Credit card debt has to be the most expensive and yet the easiest type of finance to get these days, which is probably why most banks are keen to push a credit card onto you as much as possible.
However, there are dangers in having credit card debts, because if you are just paying off the minimum and then still using the card, a large debt can easily build up. As long as the banks keep extending the credit limit this debt, will until it is unmanageable.
Nevertheless, there are some ways that you can actually get out of the credit card debt trap.
Sorting out credit card debt:
Cut up all credit cards but one
Get credit card bills for the month
Sort credit card bills
Fill in the minimum payment field
Fill in budget amounts
Finish entering your budgeted expenses
Can you cut more expenses in other areas
Pay as much as you can on the credit card
Apply a debt snowball concept
