Watch what you spend and then save

If we could chart to prices of everyday objects over the past year we would notice that there is a gradual increase, yes things are gradually getting more expensive, we may not notice it but eventually the penny drops and suddenly we are thinking how on earth did that get so expensive.

Clearly most people are going to be able to keep up with these constant increases and eventually it is going to get to the point where some everyday products are going to just too expensive to even consider buying within the weekly shop.

However there some little things that can be done which will save money on the weekly shop in the long term. Take for instance tins and dried foods. These can be bought in bulk for two reasons, they stay ok for a long time and buying in bulk is going to be cheaper.

Clear out a cupboard and fill it up with tins and anything else that is long lasting and save money in the process.
