The cost of having a baby

There is no getting away from the fact that there are financial costs being attributed to almost every part of our lives these days. However, one thing that can have a dramatic effect on the finances is having a baby, not only is this a stressful time, there is the added worry of how to meet the costs of starting a family.

This could be the reason why many couples are opting to not to start a family or at least waiting until the time is right. Which would seem to be the right thing to do, however the question is how long do you leave it?

The old fashioned way is to have children early and then once they are grown up then, start to live your life, as you would want. Although these days starting a family early has been replaced by getting a mortgage, combined with cars, loans and other commitments, it is clear to see why some couples are leaving starting a family until later on in life.
